In Her Father's Footsteps

At 13 years of age, one doesn't expect Dylan to don the color other, older, guides on the raft trip but that's exactly what she does as she climbs into the back of the boat preparing and assiting the rigging for our trip.
Dylan doesn't run a trip by herself (yet), but she's in on each and every aspect of the http://www.actionwhitewater.com/ rafting trips, learning and preparing for the day her dad says it's her turn to run the show.
Christopher, owner & operator of http://www.actionwhitewater.com/, guided his first boat down the South Fork of the American River at 13 and Dylan is hopeful she's able to do so herself before the end of the 2007 season. Christopher was guiding full time by 14 years of age, working with commercial clients and was running trips and the whole operation by the age of 17.
Dylan, trying to keep with the family tradition set up by dad hopes to do the same. She loves the 12' rafts dad runs, offering the smallest commercial fleet and the best experience to be had on the river.
